During Undergrad at Clark-Atlanta University, Tee Thomas discovered her natural ability to cultivate a community of women in celebration of caring for their hair. Still questioning her abilities to make a career of Hairstyling, it was her corporate Management experience and need to make her own hours that catapulted Tee Thomas into the Cosmetology field a short 15 years ago.  Dedicated to providing each guest with an excellent customer experience while ensuring a safe and professional place for beauty professionals including her daughters to do business, Formation Salon and Spa was founded in 2018.   During quarantine Tee launched Salon Chair Chronicles Podcast with the hopes to continue salon conversations of healing, helping and good vibes to the masses across all podcast platforms.

A Wife and mom to 6 girls, Tee finds a way to be a resource in the community. A “BigSister” with Big Brother Big Sister St. Louis for the past 5 years, in 2020 Tee Co-Founded Beauty Bootcamp for Girls: an immersive hands-on summer camp for girls ages 12-17 focusing on Hair, Nails and Skin with an emphasis on entrepreneurship.  Tee Thomas is also a member of the Healthy Hair Solutions Whisper Whip Style Team.
